Racksis® Outdoor Standing Type
Racksis® outdoor standing rack cabinets provide IP54 and IP66 protection for telecom distribution points, CCTV monitoring, security, motorway observation, traffic control, industrial plants, military areas and signalling systems. Produced 600 mm wide, 450 and 600 mm deep, from 16U to 26U.
Why the Outdoor Standing Type?

IP54 or IP66 protection
The cabinet is built to IP54 or IP66 depending on the site; the IP class is stated in the order code.
Single or double hull
Double hull models with 10 mm glass fibre filling better protect equipment from ambient heat and humidity.
Filtered ventilation
The roof fan slot and filtered extra fan slots at the sides increase heat removal from inside the cabinet.
Gasketed cable entry
A fully gasketed flange plate preserves the protection class at the cable entry.
Durable body
Galvanised steel, a monoblock welded body and outdoor polyester coating give a long service life.
Secure locking
IP54 models use an O-ring lock; IP66 models use a 3-point espagnolette locking system.
